Camping

Yesterday we went camping at a place called Rocky Point. It was one of the most beautiful places I've seen on this Island. It was at the very top of the island, we had to drive 2 hours to get there. The drive was definately worth it!!

Buck, Kellie, and Laque went with us. They are really good people and we have alot in common with them. Crew and Laque play really well together. Ryder and Charlie went with us too. I was really nervous about how they were gonna travel and behave through the night, but they did great! They had so much fun. They slept outside the tent, and they both dug their own hole to sleep in. We cooked hotdogs on our camping grill, and I ate one!! It was actually pretty good. John was shocked that I even touched the hotdog. Crew slept really well in the tent. I have never seen so many stars in my life. I wish I had a better lens, but it was absolutely gorgeous. We woke up about 6:30 to the dogs barking. We packed up early because we forgot the griddle that goes on the camping grill haha :D typical John and Jordy move. While we were packing up, John and Bucks chopper flew over. They were doing a search for a guy that got lost snorkling. I wish i would have thought sooner to take a picture because it was on of the coolest things ever!!!

I can't wait to go back next weekend! It was so nice to get away from the house for a bit.

Life

We have been so busy since John got home! It has been so much fun. John got 3 weeks off of work, so we were always out doin something and tryin to make memories. Last week we went to the beach and played for awhile, Crew was tired and cranky so he wasn't havin too much fun. John was gonna try and surf but the waves were too far and he didn't want to be tired by the time he got there so he came back to the beach. It was all in all a pretty fun day.

We went to the Nakijin-jo castle site about 2 weeks ago. It is so neat to see all of the hard work that went into building those things. All of the signs were in japanese so we didn't really know what we were lookin at but it was still neat to see.

Last Thursday I went and got a pedicure. AMAZING! It was great to just sit there and have my feet pampered without hearing a screamin kid and barking dogs. Don't get me wrong, I love to be home with my family, but I desperately needed some me time. John took Crew to the park while I was gone and they had lots of fun. John took some really neat pictures and some really cute ones of Crew. I'm so lucky to have Crew. He has brought so many blessings and so much happiness into our home.

John got me interested in something really awesome. I know some of you might laugh, but longboarding is so much fun!! I always made fun of John and told him he was going through and early mid-life crisis with his long board and his surf board and all the other crap he's been doin. I have to admit it was kinda makin me crazy but, now that I know how much fun long boarding is I'm gonna give the rest of it a shot.

Today was the first day John went back to work. We're all starting a new schedule and I'm so tired today! AHH! Hopefully we will all adjust soon. This week Crew and I are going to work on potty training. Lord please give me patience. (we're potty training Crew of course, not me) :D Easter was a good day. Besides the rain. Crew ate lots of candy and had a sugar rush for about 3 hours. That was fun!! I'll try and keep up with my blog....I know mom reads it!
