Yesterday, was one of the greatest days in my life. John came home!! I got a call from the unit Sunday night saying that Johns plane was gonna land 3:40 am Monday morning. I stayed up all night cleaning and gettin ready for my hubby to come home. 3:00 rolled around and I woke Crew up and drove to the terminal. We were so excited! We get there and a guy from the unit says that their plane got delayed and he wouldn't be in until 10:00. :( We were sad. Crew cried all the way home because he didn't get to see his daddy. We came home and watched a movie and fell asleep on the couch. Then, i got another call from the unit. I was to be at the terminal at 10:40. This time i didn't tell Crew where we were going, and i didn't get my hopes up. We get there, and this time he really is coming home! Crew was ecstatic when i told him his daddy was coming home. They came in on a C-5...that airplane is HUGE!!! Crew and I were so excited we could barely contain ourselves. The guys came filing in through the door, every wife looking for her man. There he was...he was actually HOME! Crew started screaming and ran right up to John and gave him big loves. Having him home is so surreal....the feeling is undescribable and we couldn't be happier to have him back with us.
